A Dance Studio for Courage, Freedom, Joy and Healing.

Our Story and Mission

Epic Motion began humbly as a school club in Southwest England, sparking joy with just 14 dancers of all ages and backgrounds. In 2017, our second branch opened in Stellenbosch, South Africa, where we held three exam sessions, earned bronze, silver, and gold awards at national competitions and celebrated with two breathtaking productions.

Our newest studio floor in Bangor, Northern Ireland, Epic Motion is evolving. We’re shifting focus to individual growth and the profound impact of movement on mind, body, and soul—no matter your experience, age, or starting point. Dance can truly change lives.

Meet Our Team

With a lifelong passion for movement, I'm Sinéad (Rachel), an AIDT qualified dance teacher trained in Jazz, Modern, Salsa, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Ballroom. For over 15 years, I've run and worked in dance studios in both England and South Africa, teaching students from 3 to 18+. I thrive on creating welcoming spaces where everyone can experience the joy and self-discovery that movement brings. Currently, I'm deepening my understanding of dance as a movement therapist and pursuing my MA, eager to bring even more healing and peace to the dance floor.

No Exams or Competitions

Freedom to express without pressure, fostering genuine creativity and confidence. Epic Motion indulges in a self-reflective attitude, where we see a journey, not a finish line.

Together, we dance toward a brighter, more compassionate future.

 Testimonials

I have been honored to teach so many dancers from differant walks in life, in stages of growth and from differant cultures. I care deeply for them and their dance journey. Each has taught me as much as I have them. I humbly share a few words from a few of such dancers.

Thank you for igniting a passion for movement in my girls. They always enjoy learning new pieces and playing 'knock-out'. You are a kind, encouraging and uplifting dance teacher. I am grateful for the beautiful influence you have had in their lives.

I saw a quote once, it said,

"Behind every dancer who believes in themselves, is a teacher who believed in them first." Thank you for believing in me first. Thank you for teaching me to love dance again.

A took a three-year break from dance, had to work through things and it was difficult. Though our time was short together, you reminded me of the fun and joy that dancing is supposed to be. You helped me reignite my biggest passion and discover my love for dance. I cannot thank you enough.
